Today we will start your Listening Comprehension practice lessons. In this free course, you will hear the story 2 times, then you will see 3 questions. After you have seen the 3 questions, I will show you the story for a moment and proceed to explain where the answers to each of the 3 listening comprehension questions are in the story.

A helpful hint for any listening comprehension task. When a speaker changes subjects or ideas about the same topic, the speaker will pause. Listen to these points. When you hear a break in the normal flow of speaking you should listen up. This is when new information will present itself.

Listening Comprehension is all about passively listening to the natural flow of sound. Once you hear a change in the flow, you switch to active listening. This will greatly improve your listening comprehension skills as you become used to it.
