Frequency Adverbs in English don’t have to be confusing. In today’s lesson, I help you understand how to use some of the most common frequency adverbs in sentences. I will show you what each frequency adverb means and show you some sample English sentences to help you understand them even better.

The first thing we will learn is about How Often people do things.

As you can see from the calendar above, we have red X’s on every day on the calendar. This is because we ‘do something‘ every day. For example:
I brush my teeth every day.
Every day, I wake up at 7:00 in the morning.
I do these things on all of the days of the month. You will see that I have every day at the beginning and the end of each sentence. That is fine. It can go in both places.
Every day, I brush my teeth.
I brush my teeth every day.
Every day, I wake up at 7:00 in the morning.
I wake up at 7:00 in the morning every day.

The weekend means Saturday and Sunday together.
On the weekends, I go to the park with my friends.
I go to the park with my friends on the weekends.
You will see more examples in the video lesson above.
