Let’s take a look at some simple sentence structures and examples using verbs in the tenses we just saw in the grammar table.

Past Tense

He/She/It/You/I/We/They (insert past tense verb)
I ran.
We ran.
They ran.

Present Progressive Tense

He/She/It/You/I/ (insert a present progressive tense verb)
I am running.
He is running.
She is running.
It is running.

We/They (insert a present progressive tense verb)
They are running.
We are running.
