Phonics For Adults Level 4 Lesson 8 Consonant Pairs TH and WH | Make TH Sound

This will be a fun phonics lesson for adults to help you learn American English pronunciation.

Today we will do lesson 8 in the Level 4 Adult Phonics series. We will learn the consonant pair TH.

I will teach you how to correctly pronounce the beginning TH sound and the words Thumb, Thick, and Thin in an American English accent.

I will teach you how to correctly pronounce the ending TH sound and the words Bath, Math, and Teeth in an American English accent. We will learn the consonant pair WH.

I will teach you how to correctly pronounce the initial WH sound and the words Whale, Wheel, Whip, White, Whisper, and Whisk in an American English accent.

I will teach you how to sound out words. I also have IPA pronunciation to help you pronounce the sounds. Let’s learn how to read instead of memorizing the IPA sounds.

I want you to learn how to truly read without the IPA, but it is there to help you.
